This material is a dry waxed canvas, which does not feel waxed, but is still water resistant. It is a fine tight weave, 7.2 oz lighter material from Merchant & Mills in the UK. Bison leather handles are rustic leather from the Montana Leather Company, no edge treatment is applied after cut from the hide. The leather will break in with the natural oils of your hands. Exterior dry waxed canvas is water resistant and wipeable, spot clean only.
