Beginning Knit

Do you know someone that has wanted to learn to knit? Maybe you crochet and would like to be able to make some of the beautiful knitted garments you’ve seen?
Instruction takes place on September 17 from 1-3pm.
Class includes: Understanding yarn weights, determining needle size, knitted cast on, garter stitch
Materials provided by student (we can help find these):
- Any Aran/Worsted (size 4) yarn, natural fibers are typically easiest for beginning knitters (not textured or fuzzy)
- US 8 (5.0 mm) needles, or close to that size
