Knit Class- Ranunculus Sweater

The Ranunculus pattern has been a knitting favorite for years due to its versatility and beautifully simple design. Work with Karista to calculate and adjust this great pattern to a style that fits you!
This class is a series of workshops that will walk through the process of yarn selection, fit, pattern altering, and completing a finished item that meets your expectations.
Class includes: Measuring a gauge swatch, adjusting yarn/needles to obtain desired fabric, short row shaping, specialty design stitches, determining fit, completing a garment
Materials provided by student:
- Pattern- Must be purchased by the student, available here.
- Yarn necessary for the project- this will be determined in the first class, bring any yarn, lace through worsted weight, that you would like to consider for your sweater (quantity will depend on details you pick for your own project)
- Needles- 24-32″ a couple sizes larger than suggested for the yarn you choose (you’ll also need a couple sizes up and down, interchangeable sets are great for this; you may find that your needles will be adjusted a lot in the first class)
- Tape measure or swatch ruler
- Stitch markers
- Scrap yarn or stitch holders (Purl Strings/Barber Cords/Extension Cords are highly recommended to use for trying fit)
- Tapestry needle
Should you need further instructions on any of this, please get in touch with Karista for details.
