Knitting Class- Colorwork

This class will focus on how to carry your yarn in colorwork, change colors, weave in ends, and work to get proper tension so all your stitches show.

Instruction takes place on August 17 from 1-3pm. Basic knitting skills needed to learn this technique.  This class will be a great lead up to the next class- steeking.

Materials provided by student:

• Worsted weight yarn- nonsuperwash wool is best, 5 colors recommended in varying amounts
• Circular knitting needle, size US 5 (3.75mm) 24″ length, 9″ length, or DPNs (all types will be shown, but you choose what works best for you)
• Progress keeper (locking stitch marker)
• Tapestry needle
