Hapkerchief Knit-along
June 2nd - June 30th, 2023
Simply Shetland is hosting their first knit along featuring Jamieson’s of Shetland Spindrift yarn, and Wyoming Yarn & Fiber is joining in the fun!
The Hapkerchief Cowl pattern is a new design by Gudrun Johnston, the brand director of Simply Shetland. It is a fun project to work up, using just four colors of Jamieson’s of Shetland Spindrift and with helpful video tutorials. Who doesn’t love helpful tips when trying different techniques or playing with color? You can read more about the KAL on Simply Shetland’s Website. This KAL runs from June 2nd – June 30th, 2023.

Wyoming Yarn & Fiber Color Palettes
The color palettes we have chosen for this KAL are truly stunning! There are four kits to choose from. Each kit contains a set of 4 Spindrift yarns in complimentary colors.
Kit A– Moorit, Sunrise, Turf, Shetland Black
Kit B-Granite, Rosewood, Thistledown, Tundra
Kit C-Granite, Atlantic, Moorgrass, Storm
Kit D-Sand, Dusk, Yellow Ochre, Moss
Knitting Needles
For this project, you’ll need two different size circular needles, which you can purchase below or stop by the shop!
US 9 / 5.5mm circular needle, 40cm / 16″ length (for cast on)
How To Participate:
🧶Follow @simply_shetland and @jamiesonsofshetland and @wyomingyarn on Instagram. (If you don’t use Instagram, be sure to let us know in person or via email that you are taking part in the KAL.)
🧶Order the Hapkerchief pattern via Gudrun’s Payhip or Ravelry.
🧶Choose your color palette and purchase it HERE or stop by the shop to purchase your kit!
🧶Use hashtag #hapkerchiefkal and #wyomingyarn when posting on social media.
🧶Join us at Wyoming Yarn & Fiber on June 10, 2023 from 1 – 3 pm for KNIT IN PUBLIC DAY and an opportunity to work on your Hapkerchief along with other knitters.
