Crochet Class- Read Crochet Symbols

LEARN TO READ CROCHET SYMBOLS AND DIAGRAMS
Learn to crochet from diagrams/charts using standard symbols. The projects (with Valentine’s Day in mind) will include an easy, one-round heart and a rose that is worked back and forth, then rolled up and seamed. If time permits, we may work a small filet crochet chart. Students should know basic crochet techniques.
DATE/TIME: February 2; 1-3pm. Ages 13 and up are welcome
Class includes: Basic Stitches (chain, single crochet, double crochet); Yarn Information; Determining Hook Sizes
Materials provided by student (the shop can help point out what is needed):
- Small amounts of sport, DK, or worsted-weight yarn
- Appropriate hook(s)
