2 Hour Knitting Technique- Socks (TAAT)

Join us for classes to learn to knit or advance your knitting skills.  Classes take place all year, 2023!

Have you wanted to learn how to knit socks?  Now’s your chance.  Join us for the next 3 Knitting Technique classes to learn!

This class will focus on Karista’s preferred sock knitting method- two-at-a-time, toe-up, short row toes and heels, on magic loop.  Added tips will focus on making your socks match, incorporating contrast heel and cuff (if desired), using a sock ruler, finding a fit that works for you. 

Instruction takes place on May 11th, 25th, and June 8th from 1-3pm. Basic knitting skills needed to learn this technique.

Materials provided by student:

• Sock yarn (fingering weight)- split into two 50 gram balls 
• Circular knitting needle, size US 1 (2.25mm) 32″ length
• Progress keeper (locking stitch marker)
• Tapestry needle
