It’s that time of year again, fiber friends! The 2025 Cowboy Yarn Crawl is here, inviting you to embark on a summer-long adventure through Wyoming’s vibrant fiber arts community. From May 23 to August 31, 2025, join us at Wyoming Yarn & Fiber in Cody, along with six other fantastic stops, to celebrate the joy of yarn, creativity, and connection. Whether you’re a seasoned knitter, a curious crocheter, or a spinning enthusiast, this event promises inspiration at every turn.

What Is the Cowboy Yarn Crawl?

The Cowboy Yarn Crawl is like a treasure hunt for fiber lovers! Visit seven participating locations across Wyoming—six yarn shops and the renowned Mountain Meadow Wool Mill—to collect passport stamps, discover exclusive yarns and pattern ideas, and enter exciting prize drawings. Complete the crawl by visiting all stops, and you’ll be entered into the Grand Prize Drawing, packed with fiber goodies, tools, and more! It’s a celebration of Wyoming’s rich fiber heritage, from locally sourced wool to hand-dyed skeins that capture the spirit of our landscapes.

Each stop on the crawl offers its own unique charm and selection of high-quality fibers. Here’s who you’ll visit:

• Wyoming Yarn & Fiber (Cody): Our vibrant shop is your go-to for hand-spun, artisanal yarns, and a wide range of fiber craft supplies. Stop by to see our exclusive crawl offerings and join our weekly Oddballs & Skeins meetup (Fridays, 1–3 PM) for some stitching and socializing.
• Cowgirl Yarn (Laramie): A haven for fiber artists, featuring Wyoming-grown yarns and a curated collection of hand-dyed fibers.
• The Fiber House (Sheridan): A cozy spot specializing in locally sourced fibers, with classes for all skill levels.
• Knit on Pearl (Jackson): Known for its luxurious yarns and welcoming vibe, offering Teton-inspired hand-dyed skeins.
• Swanky Mountain (Gillette): A rustic gem with unique yarns and patterns inspired by Wyoming’s landscapes.

• Exclusive Yarn: Sweet Mountain Crafts has been hard at work in the dye studio creating a special crawl colorway. You’ll be able to find “Nightly Rodeo” dyed up on a variety of bases and even on some beautiful Targhee combed top.
• Passport Stamps & Prizes: Get your crawl passport stamped and enter our door prize drawings. Collect all seven stamps for a shot at the Grand Prize!
